September 16, 2010: Transfer officially accepted into Ethiopia program from AWAA
September 13, 2010: Received documents to sign to transfer to Ethiopia adoption program
September 6, 2010: Request transfer of adoption from Rwanda to Ethiopia
August 31, 2010: Dossiers to Rwanda on HOLD
August 13, 2010: Home Study meeting #1/ Orientation
March 24, 2010: Paper pregnancy begins
March 19, 2010: Submitted agreement to AWAA and first program fee
March 3, 2010: Stephanie completed NCA Adoption Training
February 22, 2010: Jim completed NCA Adoption Training
February 15, 2010: Stephanie's new passport arrives
January 25, 2010: Sent in application to renew Stephanie's passport
Christmas Week 2009: Begin NCA Intercountry Adoption training and read 1st 10 documents due back to agency
Thanksgiving week 2009: Told our families that it's "official" we're starting the "paper pregnancy"
Nov. 24, 2009: Officially approved to adopt from Rwanda through AWAA
Nov. 11, 2009: Complete/submit online application to AWAA
Sept. 19, 2009: Met with American World Adoption Agency (AWAA)
September 2009: Decide to Adopt!!!
For as long as I can remember: Considered int'l adoption
